I recently moved to Ballarat with my husband and two sons, and have joined the team at Specialists on Drummond, commencing my practice in October 2015.
I studied at the University of Melbourne and was the top graduate from the Royal Melbourne Hospital Clinical School in 2004. I won a number of academic prizes including Dean’s Honours and the Dermatology Prize. My post-graduate training included time at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, the Royal Children’s Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and St Vincent’s Hospital. I was awarded the medal as the top graduate in Australia in my 2011 Dermatology fellowship exams.
I commenced private practice in 2012, and have experience working with both adults and children. I have worked in Brighton at the Male Street Specialist Rooms, and in Kew at Barker’s Road Dermatology, which is predominantly a paediatric dermatology practice.
I currently hold a public hospital appointment at Monash Medical Center in Clayton treating complex medical dermatological diseases in adults and children, and do regular sessions at the Hair Clinic located at the Skin and Cancer Foundation of Victoria in Carlton, treating complex hair disorders.
Skin checks and minor skin surgery, dermoscopy, eczema, psoriasis (including biologics), urticaria, acne, hair disorders and women’s dermatology.
I am a caring and compassionate specialist, who takes the time to get to know and understand my patients and their problems. My goal in Ballarat is to provide a comprehensive and well-resourced dermatology practice, and to establish good relationships with long-term patients and local doctors.
